There are two categories where the public can make a nomination in the Olympic Sport Awards.
1. Community Impact Award
2. Creator of the Year
Before you proceed, please read our Tips for Submitting a Nomination – this will give your nomination the best chance of being accepted and of attracting votes when the time for judging comes.

This award celebrates the outstanding contribution of an individual or group, from an athlete, coach, volunteer, club, club member, or representative of a National Federation, whose actions have made a transformative difference to the lives of others.
Honouring those who go above and beyond, this Award recognises a person or group of people whose passion, dedication, and leadership have created lasting change, fostered inclusion, and strengthened the connection between sport and community.
Criteria
Can be awarded to an athlete, coach, volunteers, National Federation or party within the wider circle of Olympic sport including clubs and community groups. Commercial entities are not permitted.
Evidence of delivering value, e.g., tangible examples of impact: improving number of participants in a sport.
Evidence that demonstrates engagement with and impact on the community
Testimonials or outcomes data can be submitted.
Nominations for the Olympic Sport Awards 2025 have now closed.
Submissions close 1st October 2025.

This Award celebrates the storytellers who shine a light on Irish Olympic sport. From athletes and NGBs to creators, journalists, and photographers, it recognises those who bring fans closer to sport, athlete journeys and events through genuine insight and authentic digital storytelling, building connection, pride, and celebration of Olympic Sport in 2025.
Criteria
This award is open to all creators – athletes, NGBs, media, photographers, journalists, or members of the public.
Candidates must show measurable impact on awareness, connection, or participation in Olympic sport in 2025.
Candidates must show evidence of online reach and visibility (likes, shares, views, comments).
Candidates must show innovative use of digital platforms (video, photo, podcast, campaign, article, etc.)
Candidates must show clear and compelling storytelling.
Voting in the Olympic Sport Awards has now concluded. The winners will be announced at the Awards on December 6th – join us on the night or stay tuned to our socials for all the results.
